THERAPY SPONSORSHIP
Financial circumstances should not always have to determine whether someone can access meaningful mental health support.
Through the Mind Over Matters Therapy Sponsorship Program, individuals can contribute toward therapy services for someone experiencing financial barriers to care.
You may support a specific individual or contribute toward therapy for an eligible recipient who may otherwise struggle to afford services.

WHY SPONSORSHIP MATTERS
Therapy can be an important resource for individuals navigating trauma, relationships, identity, emotional wellness, sexuality, grief, life transitions, and many other experiences.
For some people, however, the cost of care can become a barrier. Therapy sponsorship creates an opportunity for others to help reduce that barrier by contributing financially toward eligible therapy services.

WAYS TO GIVE
Therapy sponsorship does not require you to personally know the individual receiving financial support.
Make a contribution toward therapy for an eligible recipient experiencing financial barriers to services.
If you would like your contribution applied toward someone specific, enter their name in the sponsorship preference field during checkout.
PRIVACY MATTERS
Sponsoring someone's therapy does not give the sponsor access to the recipient's appointments, diagnosis, treatment plan, attendance, therapist communications, clinical records, progress, or other confidential information.
The individual receiving therapy remains the client, and their privacy and confidentiality remain protected regardless of who financially sponsors their care.
During Square checkout, you may be asked for your sponsorship preference.
Enter either:
If you do not have a specific recipient.
If you are financially supporting someone specific.
Please do not include diagnoses, medical information, therapy concerns, or other sensitive clinical details in the Square checkout field.
